Governance & Permissions
The Governance & Permissions card is where a club runs its formal board business: committees and meetings, agendas and minutes, organizational documents and compliance tracking, polls and elections, and — for Club Admins — deciding which board members and staff can use which admin features. It sits on your Admin Panel alongside Finance & Events, Membership & User Setup, and Club Operations.
Who sees this card: Everyone with an admin login sees at least Committees and Polls (scoped to whatever committees or polls they're already part of). Governance Documents only appears for Club Admins and board members granted the Manage Documents permission. Board Permissions and Staff Permissions only appear for your Club Admin account — an individual board member cannot open these screens for themself, no matter what permissions they've been given elsewhere.

Where to start
- Setting up a new board for the year? Start with Board Permissions to assign your President, Treasurer, and Secretary — they'll automatically get the right default permissions.
- Need to schedule and run an official board meeting? Go to Committees and open (or create) your board committee.
- Getting ready for an audit, renewal, or tax filing? Governance Documents → Compliance Checklist shows exactly what's outstanding.
- Need to pick a meeting date or run an election? Polls.
